About the event
This class is everything you need to keep the lines of communication going once disaster strikes! Whether it's weather emergencies, breakdowns, or wilderness survival situations, we all know communication is critical. This course was designed and built from the ground up for the mountains of eastern Kentucky, the backwoods in national parks, urban jungles, and everywhere you need a reliable, off-grid solution to communicate with your family or team. The workshop will include:
PACE communication planning Radio programming and deployment
On device modifications and deployment
CHIRP programming LoRa Mesh radio usage for text messaging
encrypted communications tabletop planning and scenarios hands-on training with top-of-the-line devices
